A collection of sketches from my sketchbook. These are just for fun. They're an important part of me as an artist, though, as they influence my larger work. (They are normally much more dorky than my other work, too.)

This is a page spread from my journal. A blue cowboy and a "sun dog" I drew while waiting for a friend to meet me at the Minneapolis Public Library. (This piece was actually done in January, but I'm fudging it to the date that it was documented.)

This is the full version of the image currently being used as this site's main layout. Technically this isn't a sketch, as it is a portion of a much larger work, but the piece didn't pan out and was scrapped. I truthfully like this corner a lot so I thought I'd give it a bit of a life.

Fan art of Fatima from Sandra K. Fuhr's Friendly Hostility. This was for a contest, and I got runner-up! Check out the page my work is featured on her site here. It's quite an honor, I've been reading that comic since its inception and I have a lot of love and respect for it. (I also have another piece in the "Honorable Mentions," see if you can find it! It's not that hard.)
