The Six Day Book
sketchbook, gesso, felt tip pens, watercolors 6.25" x 4.25" x 1", 110 pages (images on front and back of pages) Fall 2007 This piece was a stream-of-conciousness sketchbook filled with drawings and prose done in six days. The book is about words and images working together. They are not illustrations; the words and drawings do not represent one another. They are a visual team and coexist in the same space. Literature is a great inspiration for me, and this was an experiment in creating my own. Below are a few example page spreads. |
