Epilogue:

The Prince was created as an experiment. Can a comic be a comic and yet not look how a comic is "supposed" to look? How can I make comics without abiding to those ever-present, ever-watching, Rules of Comics? How can I create a comic that is about entertainment and art? How can I make a comic that is satisfying?

The style used in this piece is something I have been doing with life-drawing; pen dipped in sumi ink, then plain water and brush. The brush picks up the water-soluble ink and creates a washed value. The pages were drawn and written in straight ink with no plan, no script and no pencils. The story is supposed to be quiet in this piece and be passively driven by the art (though I don't know if that goal was achieved).

I'm not sure if I found the answers to my questions. Yet the experiment resulted in a fifteen-page square story that I am not regretful of having created, something I cannot say for a lot of my older works.

Thank you, and I hope you enjoyed!
